Niva Ananda Vidyalaya, a foster-child of Professor Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty, former Vice-Chancellor, Rabindra Bharati University, is growing to be a Disneyland, imbued with the qualities of head & heart which are essential ingredients for growing up into a complete man following the dictum of joyful learning.

OUR MISSION

Our another aim is to disabuse the minds of the students of superstition and discrimination of caste and religion. Proper education aims at enlightening and broadening one’s mind. Culture and Education are symbiotic. Culture adds fresh air to education. Culture enkindles in human beings longing for refined life . Infused with culture, education becomes a great treasure and goes a long way to make the learner a total person.

We have been harnessing sincere efforts to achieve this end. We must ensure an education that is relevant to the life of the learners, can meet their familial, societal needs, and satisfy the expectations of the Nation. Education will not only satisfy the demands of the time but will also satisfy the demands of life and humanity. It is desired that education is not divorced from life. On the contrary, education issues from and life issues from education.

OUR VISION

Our objective is not to run a business with education. We are against privatization and commercialization of education. The Vidyalaya is run by a Trust formed by some retired teachers, patrons of education and social workers. Our objective is to make the children successful human beings.

Education generates joy and conscientiousness. Students are to read, write, play, know and to comprehend joyfully. Cultural Camp is co-related with studies in our Vidyalaya. The Cultural Camp is vibrant with dance, music, drama, drawing, debate and eloquence. The Grooming Centre deals with the techniques of facing Interview Boards, developing the skill of Communicative English / Hindi, and also Behavourial Pattern, Personality Development, Good Manners, Values based on family, environment and our country. It nurtures developing students' creative faculties and caters to creative consciousness.

Many a Vidyalaya of excellence has come up in West Bengal under the active auspices of the Government and the Public. The necessity for such excellent Vidyalayas is ever increasing. With this end in view Niva Ananda Vidyalaya has joined the galaxy of eminent Vidyalayas. It is co-educational and is recongnized by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. We like to bring to your kind notice our view-points on how to run the Vidyalaya and its inherent specialties, we have been able to build up so far.

It arranges for developing students' creative faculties and creating consciousness.
Our endeavour is to arouse self-confidence in students, to face various life-situations, to inspire them to lead a united life and to make their education useful in life.
The Vidyalaya, since its inception, has been sparing no effort to free the students from the shackles of superstitions, evil customs, casteist, religious and racial dDiscipline, Punctuality, Honesty, Truthfulness Goodmannerliness, Friendship, Sense of Respect, etc. are the basic values being inculcated in the students. Values are the driving force of life. Values frame life- style. It is desired that efforts for teaching and training for the formation of the life-style in the chidren are to be a-foot since childhood. The Vidyalaya has been adopting various methods to make it a reality. Even the families are being made conscious of this mission by holding guardians/parents'meetings at regular Intervals. With this end in view. Life Style classes are held on Saturdays.
The Vidyalaya, since its inception, has been taking steps that aim at making the students free from the shame and vices of superstitions, evil customs, castist and racial discrimination, discrimination caused by religion, caste and creed. The steps thus taken, are conducive to broadening their mind, to enlightening and elevating mind and also to establishing a healthy human relationship.
Education is embedded in culture. Culture acts like pure air in the arena of education. Culture brings about a desire in human being to lead a blissful life. Culture creates the wealth of heart. The communion of education and culture helps a child grow into a successful human being. We are vigilant that education is not divested of culture. With this end in view we have intruduced Cultural Camps and Life Style classes.

No child is born to blush unseen. The possibility of being successful in the case of every student, according to his/her ability and frame of mind exists. We will find out the way to success in your child by detecting the area of possibility in him/her. Be relieved by handing over the children to us.

The prime objective of education is to make a child to dream and to learn how to be determined and laborious. "I have got the self-confidence that I am capable of doing everything" - education arouses this insistence and self-power.

All these virtues lead to success. The Vidyalaya is determined to uphold that responsibility by all means with honesty.

We shall have to see that education becomes useful. to a child in his/her day-to-day life and that education is of service to the family, the society and to the country We intend to educate a child to meet the demand of time, life and humanity. Our objective is to see education is not divorced from life.
